The Amast Health Journey
Our structured treatment plan takes place in-person over 10 weeks and is adapted from the Montreal Model.
Phase 1: Referral
Introduction & Insurance
- Reach out to Amast Health and we'll begin coordinating care with your healthcare providers.
- We take care of insurance benefit verification and prior authorization for you.
Phase 2: Intake
Evaluation & Preparation
- Evaluation Visit: We conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to ensure psychedelic-assisted therapy is right for you.
- Preparation Visit: Setting goals and learning what to expect from psychedelic therapy.
Phase 3: Treatment
Psychedelic Therapy Sessions
Weeks 2–5
Treatment visits 2x per week (8 sessions total)
Weeks 6–9
Treatment visits 1x per week (4 sessions total)
Phase 4: Continuation
Planning for Continued Wellness
- Transition Visit: We’ll meet once more to review progress and plan for sustainability.
- We'll coordinate with your mental health providers to ensure a seamless transition.
